The United States and China have reached an agreement to ease tariffs following progress in trade talks. The agreement includes a 90-day pause, during which the US will cut tariffs on Chinese goods to 30%, and China will lower duties on US goods to 10%. A joint mechanism, led by Treasury Sec. Scott Bessent and China's Vice Premier He Lifeng, will guide future economic/trade talks.
