Kenneth Genalo, head of Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) at ICE, is retiring. Robert Hammer, head of ICE’s Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) branch, is being reassigned. Marcos Charles and Derek Gordon will replace them as heads of ERO and HSI, respectively. ICE leadership is undergoing a realignment to support increasing operational tempo, following a year with the highest number of arrests in the agency's history.
