Contrary to popular belief, the 19th Amendment did not grant voting rights to all women in the US. Native women, Asian women, Latino women, and African American women in many Southern states still faced significant voting barriers. The amendment only prohibited federal and state governments from denying citizens the right to vote based on sex, but did not address other forms of disenfranchisement. It wasn't until the Voting Rights Act of 1965 and the Indian Civil Rights Act of 1968 that many of these women gained the right to vote.
