This study identifies three-dimensional echocardiographic predictors of tricuspid regurgitation (TR) regression in patients with functional TR undergoing mitral transcatheter edge-to-edge repair (TEER). It finds that severe mitral regurgitation (MR) with a non-dilated tricuspid annulus and significant changes in the tricuspid valve annulus area lead to TR regression following mitral TEER.
Severe MR with a non-dilated tricuspid annulus leads to TR regression after mitral TEER.
Significant change in tricuspid valve annulus area is associated with TR regression.
Three-dimensional echocardiography can predict TR regression.
